This news comes close on the heel of Nayantara losing the brand ambassador for the ‘Chennai Super Kings’ along with Vijay. Actor Vijay will be the sole ambassador of Chennai Super Kings now.
Singam is said to be a racy movie with all the ingredients Vijay fans will love. The movie is all set to hit the floors after Prabhudeva completes the Hindi version of ‘Pokirri’ and Vijay completes Kuruvi.

Chennai’s IPL team launched
In a glittering function that had loads of dance and music, the Chennai Super Kings
cricket team was launched in chennai on Saturday. The team which had
none of the foreign players, who could make it due to “prior
commitments”, was introduced to the gathering. Chennai Super Kings assistant coach, V.B. Chandrasekhar, described the team as a group of “fearless entertainers“.
K. Srikanth, the brand ambassador of the Chennai Super Kings,
explained why he was the perfect man to represent the team. “As a
player I never lasted more than 20 overs. Did I?” the former India
captain said.
M.S. Dhoni, the skipper of the team, said he is proud to
lead a young team. “Our ultimate aim is to win the Trophy,” he said
unveiling the team apparel whose sponsor is Reebok.
The Brand ambassadors of the team, actors Vijay & Nayantara, Gurdeep Singh, Chief Operating Officer, Aircel Cellular Limited, the team sponsor, were also present at the function.

Nayan faints during Kuselan shooting!
Nayantara the glam babe as she is known today after her whopping success of Billa
has another side to her personality. She is a very hardworking girl and
today’s heatstroke incident on the sets of Kuselan has gone on to prove
that.
Nayantara has been working continuously in the sun for the past few days as she is busy shooting for her movies Sathyam with Vishal, Aeagan with Ajith and Kuselan with Superstar Rajnikanth. According to sources of SouthDreamz.com, all three directors were shooting in Hyderabad and Vizakhapatanam, where the temperature is scorching hot.This has taken the toll on her and she fainted on the sets of Kuselan where she was shooting for a song sequence with Rajnikanth.
She was immediately taken to a private hospital in LB Nagar, Hyderabad.
The shooting was called off for today following the incident. Doctors
have said that she has been hit by heat wave and asked her to take rest
for a couple of days.
Nayantara who is the brand ambassador of Chennai Super Kings was supposed to participate in the match to promote the team along with Vijay.
Now that she has been advised rest, its not clear if she will attend
the match or not. It remains to be seen how far Nayan will go in her
commitment.

Lingusamy had recently confirmed that
Kamal Haasan and he are teaming up for a project, which will commence
from October this year. This will be Kamal's next film after
Viswaroopam 2 and that Kamal will direct this film and also act in it.
