Rishi Kapoor is known in the industry for his infamous mood swings. And the cast and crew of his upcoming film recently had to face his wrath
Sources say that thanks to a technical glitch in one of the film's shots, the veteran actor lost his cool and even didn't spare his co-star Sonam Kapoor.
Says an insider, `After a particular shot, director Nupur Asthana realised there was a sound error and the scene had to be re-shot. As soon as he heard it, Rishi completely lost it and even started shouting. He ended up snubbing Sonam too.`
Says a source well versed with Rishi's mood swings, `Everyone on the sets was on high alert as Rishi gave a re-shot. No one wanted his bad mood to return. He is known to be very temperamental and there is hardly any day when he doesn't get angry.`
Past imperfect
Rishi has also been known to lose his cool at media persons on several occasions. On one occasion he even threatened to `fix` journalists who came close to him. On another occasion when reporters dished out questions regarding son Ranbir, the veteran actor refused to face the cameras until the `offenders` left the spot.

What was Deepika doing in SRK's van?
loading...

Director Ayan Mukerji, who is currently busy with the post-production of "Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani" (YJHD), is said to have dubbed Deepika Padukone's voice in superstar Shah Rukh Khan's vanity van.
Mukerji recently landed at Wai, 250 km from Mumbai, on the sets of Shah Rukh and Deepika starrer "Chennai Express" to dub a few lines for the trailer of YJHD. But to his dismay, he found there was no suitable infrastructure around.
Shah Rukh immediately offered for their dub his luxury makeup trailer that has one of the best sound systems that a mobile van can have, said a statement.

"SRK not only allowed Mukerji and his team to use his van for dubbing, he also ensured that the YJHD team was treated to a sumptuous lunch and also offered them recreational facilities as they had driven seven hours at a stretch to reach the sets," said a source.
Releasing May 31, YJHD also stars Kalki Koechlin and Aditya Roy Kapur.

Bong Beauty Bipasha Basu who is going out of her for promoting Aatma which releases this week and is a supernatural thriller has said that she does not regret not working with the three big Khans of Bollywood.
`I don't regret it. I have been in the industry for 14 years now and I am here to do what I want to do, ` says Bipasha Basu.
Aatma is the second film in the supernatural genre in the last year. Bipasha is also turning out to be the super favorite of Film maker's who are attracted in making Horror/Supernatural films.
For this, The actress quickly adds `Well, the genre might be the same but the characters I play are different from each other. In fact, a lot of actors don't go out-of-the-box, but I do. I do the irregular roles. "
The actress is presently in Delhi to promote her film and will be soon landing in Mumbai for it's release. We hope, Aatma becomes successful in adding another Super-Hit in Bipasha's cap. There's so much more for women to do in Bollywood: Bipasha Basu Actress Bipasha Basu feels there are not good enough roles for women in Bollywood, and that there is still so much more that women can do in the field.
"We have not done enough. There is so much more to do. We all talk about the Oscars and the Golden Globes. Every actress over there is above 40 years of age. The kind of roles written for women there are just so brilliant. It's not like we will not accept those films here. It is a matter of time," Bipasha said in an interaction here.
Nevertheless, she admits the change in taste is visibly better.
"Now the best thing is that married actresses are being accepted. At one point of time, we were not even supposed to say that 'I have a boyfriend'. Things have changed now," she said.

With newer films being accepted nowadays, Bipasha credits the audience. She feels that different films are being liked today due to the audience's demand.
"It is only because of the people who watch these. The more you watch these films, the more eyeballs they get and the more these films will be made," she said.
After being a part of masala films like "No Entry", "Phir Hera Pheri" and "Dhoom 2", Bipasha seems to have moved on to different genres. The actress feels that a commercial film is a safe bet, but that doesn't stop her from experimenting.
"I have done these films. I can't say that I am the brave one who hasn't. But fortunately or unfortunately, for me, safe does not work. When I want a break, I will do such films again," she said.
Last seen in Vikram Bhatt's "Raaz 3", Bipasha will soon be seen in Suparn Verma's "Aatma" next. The actress said that she doesn't want to be a part of only horror films, but admits it would have been "foolish" let good scripts slip by just because of some similarities.
The actress also revealed that she gets offered many horror films on a weekly basis, but doesn't take up everything.
